This webinar discusses the importance of key performance indicators (KPI’s) for monitoring outcomes in your IVF laboratory as well as to manage performance of staff.

Webinar Objectives

To consider the use of KPI’s as an excellent tool for quality monitoring and quality improvement in the ART laboratory

Target Audience

Any member of the reproductive medicine team wishing to learn about quality management and its application to the ART laboratory.

Educational needs and expected outcomes

A quality management system (QMS) should be an integral part of the functioning of a well-run ART service since it works to ensure the best possible standards. The KPI’s webinar will discuss

  • How to define quality in an ART setting
  • The different types of performance indicators
  • Suggested benchmark and reference populations
  • The use of KPIs in training and monitoring staff performance
  • How monitoring KPI’s will lead to continuous improvement of quality of work

During the ‘Meet the expert’ sessions, questions (including troubleshooting) will be answered directly in a one-on-one meeting with our experienced embryologists and scientists.

Required prior knowledge for participation in webinar

Participants should ideally be working in an ART setting, though no specific experience is needed.
