Anastasia Kirillova, Ph.D., ESHRE certified clinical embryologist, works as a Senior scientist and Head of the Embryology lab at the Kulakov National Medical Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Perinatology in Moscow, Russia. She graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2012 and did her postgraduate research at the University of Vienna studying the evolution of gastrulation and the molecular mechanisms of embryonic axis formation. Anastasia is a recipient of several scientific grants and awards including the EMBO fellowship.
Anastasia strives for innovation bridging the gap between basic science and clinical practice. Her scientific interests lie in the field of fertility preservation, oocyte rejuvenation, and in vitro oogenesis. Anastasia established one of the biggest Oncofertility programs in Russia, including ovarian tissue cryopreservation and ovarian tissue oocytes in vitro maturation.
