Consultant Fertility doctor, Reproductive medicine and IVF, Sahlgrenska University Hospital

Zoha Saket went to medical school at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm and graduated in 2009. After medical internship she went through a residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology which was completed 2016, since then working at Sweden’s largest Reproductive centre and IVF clinic at Sahlgrenska University Hospital.

She is a consultant Gynaecologist soon to be certified subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery. In addition to standard reproductive care also experienced in specific areas and with responsibilities such as being the Head of gamete donation program and the Head of fertility preservation program for Transgender patients.

Scientific interest field is prognostic assessments, IVF outcome and upcoming techniques in ART. Published in Human Reproduction 2021 “Cumulative live birth rate after IVF: trend over time and the impact of blastocyst culture and vitrification” which was presented and selected for the press release at the 2021 ESHRE congress. Involved in an ongoing multicentre RCT regarding AI and embryo selection.

Engaged in education at Gothenburg University in medical and ethical subjects as well as involved in organizing a yearly conference for fellow fertility doctors in Sweden and Norway. Interested in quality of care being Internal Auditor according to ISO standards at current workplace.
