Associate Chief Physician, Medical Doctor, The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-Sen University, China

Education and work experience: She graduated from the clinical medicine of seven-year education at Sun Yat-Sen University School of Medicine in 2004 and has been working at the First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-Sen University after graduation. In 2011, she went to Imperial College London, UK, working as a visiting scholar. In 2016, she went to the Johns Hopkins University, USA, implementing postdoctoral research.

Clinical experience and expertise: She’s engaged in clinical, teaching and research work in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive medicine, and specializes in infertility diagnosis and treatment and the application of various assisted reproductive technologies (artificial insemination, in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer), assisted reproduction treatment for reproductive endocrine diseases, endometriosis, low ovarian reserve, and repeated implantation failure. She has presided over and participated in many national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects such as the National Science Foundation of China and the Science Foundation of Guangdong Province; and published many papers at the domestic and international journals.

Research interests: Exploratory research on the safety of assisted reproductive technology, in vitro maturation of oocyte, oocyte stress on meiosis, and effects on fertilization and embryonic development.
