Derek is a member of the ICSI, Andrology, and Assisted Fertilization team at the Ronald O. Perelman and Claudia Cohen Center for Reproductive Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York. He obtained his B.A.in Biology at Boston University in 2014. His research endeavors include the impact of sperm DNA fragmentation on reproductive success and predicting ooplasmic competence and subsequent ICSI outcome based on proportional oocyte nuclear maturity.
