Course Description

One-Day Theory and Hands-on Course on July 4, 2024 (9.00 am – 6.00 pm CEST)

This course will be a theoretical and hands-on step-by-step training in performing Oocyte Pick-Up (OPU) and Embryo Transfer (ET), including key pointers, and case report studies on potential complications.

Course Objectives

To learn about

  • Good clinical and laboratory practices in OPU and ET
  • The female reproductive system
  • The cycle preparation of patients for OPU and ET
  • Devices, equipment, and environment set up
  • Complications and troubleshooting
  • Error prevention using electronic witnessing during OPU and ET
  • Quality management including training for OPU and ET
  • Clinicians and laboratory roles during these procedures.

To train Hands-on in OPU and ET using simulators
To discuss case reports and complications with experts

Target Audience
