Participants will learn the principles of cryobiology, including vitrification, and examine clinical data from the scientific literature. The course also includes demonstrations of the vitrification cooling and warming procedures followed by the opportunity for some hands-on work using Sage and Origio systems as examples of open and closed devices and DMSO and DMSO-free systems.
Please note that the course does NOT involve any observation of clinical work or use/handling of human eggs/embryos.
