ORIGIO® Handling Medium

ORIGIO Handling is a modern, ready-to-use handling medium with a dual buffer (HEPES/MOPS) that meets the need for stable pH level outside of the incubator on a broad range of ART procedures.

Media-bottle-graphicFoundation: ORIGIO Sequential Fert
Buffering system: HEPES and MOPS
Indications: Multiple, including trophectoderm biopsy

Optimized external pH buffer

ORIGIO Handling features a dual buffering system (HEPES/MOPS) that covers a specific pH over a range of temperatures1.

A strong foundation

The physical composition of our ORIGIO Handling medium is based on the ORIGIO Sequential Fertilization medium. The range contains a rich mix of amino acids and vitamins that play a major role in nurturing embryo growth and development.

Vitamins
Vitamins play a role in biosynthesis and DNA synthesis/repair, as well as having antioxidant properties. Inclusion in culture media mitigates against in vitro culture stress and supports embryo development closer to in vivo rates.

Amino Acids
Amino acids fulfil several functions including as biosynthetic precursors, intracellular buffers of pH, antioxidants and chelators.
